    It's a same that you now have learned the art world and all its games and pressures. You could have been Good. Like your science education, your art education is no different in that it ruins you. If money and fames are important and you are a politically correct item, you will be found and prostituted just as Basquiet was. His work goes for $millions and his name is in the press, but he got relatively nothing of riches be found drugs and alcohol. Insist on this and you will justify it as well. You are already on that road.

    Sola Scriptura **IS** the answer, and so is eisegeses. We aren't generally advocates of by politicized Sharia, but we do argue with traditionalists all the time. We've got very modern attitudes but we're generally very socially Conservative as well as against the general notion of evil, which we must ban, and good, we must mandate. It's true that these things should be enacted on by a consular government, a form of government as effective and moral as democracy, and much more in line with modern Muslim thought (which is based on the idea of shura, but in a religiously neutral way). I don't call myself a Muslim since Muslims have lots of requirements for who is and is not Muslim. I do, however consider God to be the only God, no matter the language or ritual, and Muhammad is His prophet.

    Mr Prager correctly identifies the obstacle within Islam that prevents reformation. He then opines that Islam can change and that, if it does it will be to through the efforts of American Muslims. Unfortunately Prager does not identify why Islam is entirely incapable of reformation. Here's why: Muhammad repeatedly insisted that he was NOT the author of the Qur'an. He declared that Allah was the Quran's author and that he had only taken dictation. That this was accomplished in a series of visits by the archangel Gabriel, who transmitted to Muhammad, Allah's words to be written down. In support of this claim, Muhammad declared that he was then and was now, illiterate and that Allah had miraculously enabled him to write down his words. Therein lies the immovable obstacle, fallible mankind is literally incapable of revising infallible Allah's words. So to revise the Qur'an implicitly requires that Muhammad's claim that Allah is the author of the Qur'an be rejected. In which case, Muhammad was either a liar or delusional. In either case, Islam's theological foundations utterly collapse.

    How Dennis can make a statement like: "The only reason we ban murder is because G-d says it's wrong..." and then tell the religious that religious law is inherently a negative thing is inexplicable to me, politicized shariah supporting Muslims with an eye toward humane, limited, consultative governance are the allies of the honest modern religious thinkers, not their enemies. I don't know what Dennis thinks of MLK Jr., but he was the equivalent here in America, and though he may have been somewhat of a theocrat, he was certainly righteous for a Christian. As a Noachide I must say that I would much rather live under shariah, Halakha, or Christian law than American law, combined with current communications technology you're talking about a political system who's people are able to call out corruption until the system becomes relatively transparent as it is slowly becoming the case everywhere, even in places like China and Russia. What would be termed a politically limited modern theocracy in America would actually be a good thing, and in line with all three of our religions.

    Good luck bearing a huge amount of debt for the following: 1 - A worthless graduate degree that no higher education institutions would give two 💩 about. 2 - A complete unresponsive staff and faculties. Any other graduate PhD departments in any type of universities regadless of the ranking from university of Alabama to an ivy league type Harvard and Yale, all of them pay their graduate students to enter their PhD Program and do research. No normal operating graduate school asks for a complete loan borrowing from its student except CGU. The school is in dire need of money and will accept anyone who just submit an application regardless of the merit hence the loan borrowing requirement of CGU and bearing a huge burden of debt as opposed to any other regular phd programs that are competitive to get in because they pay for all the years of PhD studies and research so they want to make sure that the prospective applicants are worthy of getting paid for 5 to 7 years. That being said there is one exception to CGU cash generating operations and that is the math department that is the only department that offers half to full support given mathematics is already a tough major and it requires a brain and dedication but other programs are Joke 😊 This so-called "research graduate university" is a disgrace to its other 5C sisters schools that are world renowned over the top quality liberal arts undergrad schools such as Pomona and McKenna. You don't believe me spend the first semester there and you'll know what I mean. This campus also acts like a gestapo and probably will ask youtube to delete my comment but guess what RUclips won't do since my comment does not violate any of RUclips community guidelines and is of 💯% informative nature.

    The attempt to create moral equivalence between Israelis and Hamas is stretching things a bit. What does this Salam think of October 7. Is Hamas morally equivalent to the IDF? Is Hamas just nationalism or secularism? I would guess it is not.

    this Muslim is just an apologist. When he talks about the Palestinians losing their land and being persecuted. All over the Muslim world Jews are being driven out and their possessions taken away. The Palestinians in Palestine include many who came after the Jews to get jobs created by Israelis or the British. Their homelands are actually across North Africa and the near East. They had half a dozen offers of a two state solution but rejected them because they want all the whole land. They are not so oppressed, they get millions of dollars of aid every year, but that money spent on terror tunnels, weapons and terror attacks like Oct. 7. They could use that money to create a better society. The guy is superficial, he just repeats the standard excuses for the intifada.

  • @jamesstuartbrice420
    @jamesstuartbrice420 7 месяцев назад

    I suppose that the 50 Muslim countries were mainly converted by missionaries carrying hand puppets in their rucksack alongside with the scriptures. They got the idea from their holy books. It reminds me of Tom Lehrer and his song The Folksong Army. They all just converted people by preaching and entertaining converts. And there are minority religions in their countries like the Coptic Christians in Egypt. The slaves survived in many Christian states, but no one praises these countries for this accomplishment.

  • @jamesstuartbrice420
    @jamesstuartbrice420 7 месяцев назад

    The Muslim man makes some good points. But he is not using statistics but rather individual examples to create the impression of moral equivalence. Bill Warner uses statistics on Islam to characterize the religion in overall terms. And it is just as easy to argue for moral differences too. The current case of Oct 7 and the brutal attack on Israel and its civilians by Hamas tends to suggest moral differences are important. And perhaps we should see that the Nazis were not committing the Holocaust because of religious conviction, as they rejected Christianity. But the jihadis today quote their scriptures to just if their atrocities. In short the Muslim man is more an apologist than a scholar objectively summarizing the character of Islam as a movement in the world across time.

    The notion that Israel is defending itself is as absurd as the notion that a rapist is defending himself from the victim, because Israel is the occupier. The middle east problem.....In a nutshell, it’s this: One side has been enduring displacement and occupation. The Palestinians, descendants of the ancient Canaanites, aspire to live in their own homeland, free of occupation and with rights equal to any other nation. They recognize the Jewish history in the land but assert their own millennia-long connection to Palestine. The tragedy is that many, including some in Israel, do not recognize the rights of the Palestinians to self-determination in their own state. This has been true since 1947 when the United Nations voted to divide the land called Palestine into a Jewish state and an Arab state. While it is often mentioned that Arabs rejected this plan, the complexities of why are seldom discussed. For the Palestinians, this plan was seen as partitioning a land where the majority were Arab, without their true consent. In 1948, as Israel was established, approximately 700,000 Palestinians were displaced from their homes, creating a refugee crisis that persists to this day. Known as the Nakba or "catastrophe", it is a sorrowful event for Palestinians, marking loss and dispossession. Years later, in 1967, Israel expanded its borders, occupying territories including the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and East Jerusalem. These areas are considered by international law as occupied territories. Yet, settlements, considered illegal under international law, have continued to grow, taking more land from Palestinians. When Palestinians resisted occupation, their uprisings were met with force. When they sought diplomacy, the path to statehood remained elusive. And when they tried to tell their story to the world, they often faced deaf ears. For decades, Palestinians have seen their land shrink, their rights curtailed, and their call for justice muted. They have repeatedly asked for the end of the occupation, the right of return for refugees, and a capital in East Jerusalem. Consider the reality of life in Gaza. The blockade has resulted in a humanitarian crisis, with limited access to basic necessities, medical supplies, and opportunities. Yet the spirit of the Palestinians remains unbroken, their culture vibrant, and their aspirations clear. Think about these questions: If Palestinians were given their full rights and statehood tomorrow, would they still have grievances? And if Israel recognized the Palestinian right to a state and ended the occupation, what would happen? In the first case, a long-standing injustice would be addressed. In the second, a significant step towards peace would be made. Remember this: The land known as Palestine has been home to diverse civilizations and peoples for thousands of years, including the Canaanites from whom many Palestinians trace their lineage. Palestinians have a deep-rooted history in this land, and their aspiration for a state is a quest for justice and recognition. That's the issue: Why can't the Palestinian people, with their rich history and contributions to civilization, have their own state and live with dignity and peace?
